Nihongo Table

NEW 2026 Program at JASC!

Introducing Nihongo Table — launching January 2026!

Nihongo Table is JASC’s newest community program—a monthly social meetup for anyone interested in Japanese language and culture. Created to fill the need for a relaxed, welcoming place to practice Japanese and enjoy cultural activities, this program is open to learners and enthusiasts of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers.

Each session is built around a theme (such as food, seasons, holidays, hobbies, and more) and includes a mix of fun, low-pressure activities like conversation starters, games, crafts, short cultural spotlights, and mini guided language practice. Participants can choose to speak as much—or as little—Japanese as they like, making it fully accessible and beginner-friendly.

Whether you’re currently taking a class, brushing up on old skills, or simply looking for a community that shares your interest in Japan, Nihongo Table offers a judgment-free space to relax, connect, and explore. Japanese tea and snacks are provided.

Come join us for an evening of culture, conversation, and community!
