Ron & Joyce Yoshino
Last year marked the inaugural presentation of the JASC 功労賞 (Kōrō-shō), also known as the JASC Distinguished Service Award, which honors individuals or organizations whose exceptional dedication and service have made a lasting impact on JASC and the Japanese American community. Rooted in the concept of kōrō—meritorious service or distinguished contribution—the award recognizes sustained leadership, volunteerism, advocacy, and philanthropic support that advance JASC’s mission and shape its future.
