JASC helps aging adults of all ethnicities live independently, comfortably and safely through a variety of services. These programs include:

• Adult Day Services provides a safe, stimulating, supervised daily environment for older adults;
• Home Support Services provides in-home assistance and support for anyone in need temporarily or on a regularly scheduled basis;
• Educational workshops, such as health screenings, are offered.

JASC also participates in the City of Chicago’s Department on Aging Golden Diners program, serving as one of the 70 metropolitan area locations providing low-cost affordable lunches for older adults.

What is Repair Day?

On Repair Day, bring your wheelchair, walker, or cane to JASC for a free professional check-up, adjustment, or repair. Well-maintained equipment can make a big difference in your comfort and mobility, and this service helps ensure your device is working at its best. Everyone in the community is welcome to take advantage of this opportunity.

CapTel will also be available during the event to share more about their accessible No Cost captioned telephone: a great service for those hard of hearing.
