Thank you for visiting us during Open House Chicago!

JASC was proud to welcome around 450 guests over the weekend – many from the neighborhood and curious to learn more about our new building. Originally a US Bank, the building was renovated to create ample programming space and natural sunlight. All three floors were open for self-guided tours and exploration, including three special activities throughout the weekend:

An origami-folding workshop led by Chicago North Side Origami Group

A traditional Japanese tea ceremony demonstration by Remi Kimura and Mie Tamura

An exclusive architect talk & tour by JASC’s very own architect Anna Ninoyu

We are so grateful for our volunteers that helped with this event – it would not have been possible without your welcoming personalities and support!

If you missed Open House Chicago weekend, don’t worry! You still have the chance to check out our building during Holiday Delight on November 22nd!

We hope to see you there!
