About Beginners II Japanese Classes at JASC

Classes are offered throughout the year in four-session-blocks and each session is 8 weeks long. Students should expect to complete 3 chapters each session to ultimately complete the Genki II textbook at the end of the fourth session.

Breakdown of Beginners II Class Timeline:

Session 1: Covers chapters 13-15 of the Genki 2 Textbook

Session 2: Covers chapters 16-18 of the Genki 2 Textbook

Session 3: Covers chapters 19-21 of the Genki 2 Textbook

Session 4: Covers chapters 22-23 of the Genki 2 Textbook

The Genki II textbook can be purchased through our online bookstore or through Amazon.

The workbook is NOT a requirement for class but can be helpful for self-study. Please purchase your textbook before the start of class.
